          The purpose of this research was to examine effects of locations of illustration on computer monitor on English vocabulary learning achievement of Pratom Suksa four students learning from computer – assisted instruction lesson.

          Pratom Suksa four students (N = 100) from 320 students of St. John School were randomly selected of participation in the study. Five groups of students were randomly assigned to five treatments of illustration locations in computer-assisted instruction. Each group (N = 20) studied one of five English vocabulary lessons with illustrations at left, right, upper, lower, and center of computer monitor. Each lessons consisted of 20 illustrations with half size of the computer monitor. Students were tested immediately following studying lesson.

          A one – way analysis of variance revealed that students when learning English vocabulary from computer – assisted instruction lessons with different illustration locations showed no statistically significant difference learning achievement at the .05 level.
