          The purpose of this research was to study the utilization of daily newspapers as instructional media on an environmental aspect of the lower secondary school teachers in Bangkok metropolis, in the aspect of the methods of using daily newspapers and the levels of using daily newspapers as instructional media, lesson and environmental co-curricular activities. The sample were 342 science and social studies teachers from the lower secondary school under the jurisdiction of General Education department in Bangkok Metropolis. The obtained data were analyzed by means of percentage , arithmetic mean , standard deviation and then presented in the tables and descriptive forms. The results of the research were as follows:
          1. The methods of using daily newspapers in environment studies instruction of the lower secondary school teachers in each volume as follows: having students use newspaper as source for writing reports ,using knowledge concerning with new environmental concept as lesson, having students present environmental information or columns and articles from newspaper to display environment exhibition, presenting new or events as the examples for the explanation and using environmental information or concept from newspapers for introduction of lesson, by using “Thai Ratt” and “Daily News”
          2. the lower secondary school teachers use daily newspapers as instructional media, lesson and environmental co-curricular activities at middle level.
