The major findings were as follows : Most of the private computer schools rent building near communities in the city and near educational institutions. Most school administrators were headmaster with Bachelor’s Degree graduates, Most of the full-time and part-time instructors graduated with Bachelor’s Degree. In some schools, there were no full-time instructors had permanent jobs.
Microcomputer used in most computer schools were varied. Many old model sixteen bit microcomputers with normal monochrome monitors were still used in schools. Most schools had no or had just only 1-5 up-to-date microcomputers, monitors and accessories such as hard-disk, mouses, and laser printers.
The problem rated “high” by school administrators was the quick change of technology made microcomputers and their accessories not worthwhile. No problems were rated “high” by instructors and students. A problem with higher average than others was that students had different background of knowledge. The need that administrators rated “high” was microcomputers with high capacity. Instructors needed curriculum to be improved. Students needed drill programs which could be adapted with their jobs.
